Fortunately, Nwigwe has announced the #getTWISTEDsundays [The Live Experience] EP is on the way, so sooner rather than later we’ll be able to rock out to the live and studio versions of some of our favorite weekly releases.

With the extension leg of tour officially in the bag, Tobe drops off the latest live cut, this time bringing “Heat Rock” to LeRoy Crump Stadium in Houston, TX. And, despite the rawness of his lyrical prowess, “Heat Rock” coming at you live feels more like a rock concert than your typical hip-hop performance. Of course, ain’t a damn thing typical about Tobe Nwigwe, Fat, LaNell Grant, and the family they roll with. With the 4 piece band knocking hard and Nell vibing out, doing what she does best, Nwigwe tears through his prose, delivering the substance-laden content with an impassioned, fiery vengeance.

Tobe is out here rapping like ET delivering a speech. All you have to do is press play and, even if you don’t pick up on the depth of what’s being addressed, you’ll be left feeling like you can achieve anything – it pumps you up, gets the blood flowing and motivates you beyond measure. So, take some time to really hone in on what is being addressed, because knowledge might lead to power but execution secures it.
