With Haunted Gardens dropping on April 20th, Sadistik follows up “Eden” with the release of the albums second single, “Saints.” Backed by haunting production courtesy of Foxwedding, the Seattle-bred and LA-based artist intricately weaves his prose across the record, layering “Saints” with impassioned delivery and mind-bending wordplay. In and of itself, “Saints” is an easy listening experience but it’s one that certainly requires patience (s/o Orpheus) if the listener hopes to fully digest the vastness of Sadistik’s content. With his words, Sadistik paints vivid imagery that is at once clear while remaining endlessly tangled in the web of his serpentine flow.
“Saints” is accented by Lotte Kestner’s eerie backing vocals and Michelle Kim’s daunting violin, both of which serve their purpose in adding an additional layer of morbid life to the Haunted Gardens single.
