Watch Now: Qveen Herby - Mission

We got Qveen Herby’s rendition of “WAP” not too long ago and now she’s back with our first taste of the forthcoming EP 9. With “Mission,” the Qveen once again showcases the always evolving style and artistry that has allowed her Qveendom to reign supreme over the course of an ongoing series of show stopping EPs.

The latest offering from Qveen Herby is quite the gem in an already vibrant catalogue of shining records. While a lot of her music features keen pop-sensibilities, “Mission” feels as though Qveen is diving deeper into what may be described as a radio-friendly anthem. But – and this is a pretty major but – “Mission” is an insightful, mindful and wholly aware joint. That’s not to say you can’t find thought-provoking records on your radio, but “Mission” provides a beautiful juxtaposition of depth and pop-esque soundscapes.

What I’m trying to say is, “Mission” is a banger of a track that will leave you feeling uplifted, motivated and inspired.

Over the course of the new song, Qveen reveals the fruits of believing in your vision. If you can see it and you can believe it – and you’re willing to put in the work – then you can make those dreams manifest into your reality. “Mission” is saturated with a sharp delivery of game from an individual who has paved her own lane – while respectfully dapping up all those who came before her. You may get lost in the vibes your first time through but run “Mission” back to really let the wisdom bombs resonate in your mind, body and soul.

Oh and of course Qveen Herby still comes through with the bars…’cause duh.

And if you expected anything less than a total vibe from the Nick Noonan-directed visual experience then you haven’t been paying attention to the rise of the Qveen. Like Qveen Herby herself, the “Mission” video is a freakin’ mood from start to finish. This is a reoccurring theme with the Qveen Herby write-ups on Hxppy Thxxghts, but confidence is powerful force…especially when you’re coupling it with humility, determination and a wondrous set of visions and goals.

“Mission” is available now on all your favorite streaming platforms. Enjoy the Hxppy Thxxghts Interview with Qveen Herby if you’ve been sleeping on the goodies.
