Alright, so there’s a good chance you’re going to enjoy “Paradise.” But, regardless of how much you enjoy it, the latest from OnCue will also most likely be a sharp reminder of what social distancing is preventing right now. And, let’s be honest, no amount of PornHub Premium can make up for the real – CONSENSUAL – thing.

One thing is for certain – “Paradise” is about to be locked in your post-quarantine summertime cuffing playlist.

In the meantime, it’ll just have to serve as a little reminder of what’s waiting on the other side of all of this.

Billy Wonka cooks up a smooth serving of R&B instrumentation to help this bop come to life, allowing Cuey plenty of room to offer up a sweet serenade to something he holds in the highest regard. And make no mistake about it, “Paradise” isn’t an ode to a tropical island…unless we’re getting deep into metaphors. Spoiler alert: we’re not. From start to finish, OnCue fills “Paradise” with slick references and sensual delivery, raising his glass and showing appreciation for – earmuffs, kids – pussy. Dude went and threw all inhibitions out the window on this one and it results in a fun, vibey and promiscuous record.

OnCue has been getting quite personal with his recent releases, letting a lot off his chest. Although “Paradise” is certainly personal in its own right, the record provides a bit of a relief from the seriousness we’ve all been faced with as of late.
