Sometimes, you just need a whole lot of nothingness to vibe out to. And, of course, it’s an added treat when all that nothingness comes together to form a wonderfully cohesive something.

That’s just what we get from Derek Luh and his vibey “Jerry Maguire.” The latest from the LA-based Luh features witty, tongue-in-cheek lyrics wrapped up in an engaging flow. The vibe-laden record is saturated with sharp references and, despite being all over the place, finds a warm fidelity with the soft knock of the atmospheric production. “Jerry Maguire” is a fun bop of a track that’ll leave the listener feeling good all around.

Luh comes through with some trippy animation for the official visual treatment, courtesy of Damir Inbar. The video serves its purpose quite well, capturing the effervescent energy of “Jerry Maguire” while dancing in the realm of eccentric randomness.
