It’s been a hot minute that fans have been anticipating a full-length from Blimes and Gab and they came through swinging with Talk About It! After liberating the debut album less than a week ago, the tag-team champs slide through with the official visual for “Shellys (It’s Chill).”

Listen, you’re going to be hard pressed to find a more appropriate description for this joint than the title itself. From top to bottom, “Shellys (It’s Chill)” is chill. These Goddesses have seemingly mastered the balance of vocal presence and slick lyricism, as Gifted Gab saturates the joint with a sultry, soulful delivery before Blimes comes floating in with her buttery smooth bars. It’s a groove, it’s a bop and it’ll leave you wanting nothing more than a quick smoke followed by a solo dolo dance party around your house. Fuck it, invite your friends to get down with you so long as they don’t bring any negative vibes. ‘Cause “Shellys (It’s Chill)” leaves no room for any toxicity.

Directed by DJ Turner, the accompanying flick kicks off with a humorous intro before hopping in the wayback machine for a little retro presentation. It’s a fun music video that certainly captures the bounce and vibe of the record itself. And, of course, shoutout to Qveen Herby for the cameo!
